Baptism is a conscious choice to follow Jesus. Baptism is the primary public act of our allegiance to His kingdom. Baptism is a powerful symbol of who and whose we are. Baptism is an act of spiritual warfare that seals our belonging to God.
If you have never been baptised as a believer (i.e. as a choice you made for yourself, not one that someone else made for you) it’s one of the most significant things you can do to grow as a disciple and count for Jesus’ kingdom.
