Trusting God

On Friday night at Youth we were given one minute to pray and trust the Holy Spirit to give us an image of someone and a word for them. I was a little scared and uncertain, but felt that God had given me a specific, although strange, picture and a rather personal message to go with it! I believed that the message was for someone that was going to be at church on Sunday – and that they’d be wearing pink!

When we were told at Youth that we were going “treasure hunting” I was expecting food but the real treasure was more satisfying and rejuvenating than I could ever have expected!
I prayed (feeling very unsure as I had never opened myself up to God like this before) and asked for pictures. That’s what I got – apples and song! I also saw brown hair, an orange skirt and brown shoes. [Read more...]
