A promise from God, that Makaphutu would become a lighthouse to the community of the Valley of 1000 Hills. It was with this promise that Wade and Felicity Woods felt the call from God on their lives to bring back the Ark of the Covenant (presence of God) to Makaphutu.

With urgency they responded and understood that this was God’s request, and even if it was just for a season, they had been handpicked by their Father to bring life to this place.

As Isaiah 58:6-12 secured them with the promise of God’s guidance and care, they took up the reins and trusted God completely for His provision and strength to “rebuild the ancient ruins and to raise up the age-old foundations” (Isaiah 58:12).
