Numbness healed

At the Mind, body and soul fair a lady came to our healing stand suffering from the side effects of chemotherapy, she had lost all feeling in her hands and feet and had a permanent burning sensation in her hands. First we prayed for her hands and the burning sensation diminished, after when we prayed again it had disappeared and the feeling in her fingers started to return. By the time we had finished praying there was no pain, she could feel with her fingers and she could feel that she was wearing shoes for the first time in a long time!
We were able to share with her that not only was He not angry with her but was holding out His hand to her. She had a radical encounter with the love of Jesus!
Miracle Baby

Stuart and Peta Roberts tell the story of their baby, Duncan’s, miraculous journey through heart surgery to healing:
When Duncan was admitted to hospital on 10 February with Bronchiolitis, it was discovered that he had a congenital heart defect: Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Drainage. In simple terms, this means that Duncan’s heart was “mixing” oxygenated and de-oxygenated blood. Although his body had been compensating for this for 12 months, whenhe contracted a virus his heart was put under enormous strain. He no longer had the reserves to continue “compensating” for the lack of oxygenated blood to the body. As this diagnosis was made, we felt led to this scripture:
Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name;
You are mine;
When you pass through the waters, I will be
with you; and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be
burned.
For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, Your SAVIOUR.
(Isaiah 43: 1 – 3)
Duncan was in Westville hospital for 3 weeks.
After two incidences of heart failure, Duncan was flown to Cape Town on the 2 March. The next evening he went into theatre for emergency resuscitation and was placed on a ventilator. The ICU sister said that that night Duncan “sat at heaven’s door”.
Duncan’s condition was so critical that he was scheduled for an emergency heart operation on the 4 March at 1pm and was given a 50 % chance of survival. Family, our church, friends and strangers (back home and across the world) responded with raised arms and voices to the Lord. Duncan was desperately critical for 11 days: his body had to adjust to his (corrected) heart. Then he developed severe pneumonia and went into respiratory distress and organ failure on the 15 March.
We felt a mighty battle ensue – there was great spiritual warfare for Duncan’s life on a daily basis!
In our hearts the battle raged too: to be strong and courageous, to have hope and faith, persevere in prayer and keep our minds steadfast! On the 16 March, Duncan began to show small signs of improvement. Although there were some set backs in the following week, we rejoiced in the knowledge that our son would live! Each week brought improvement as step by step every life support apparatus was removed and medication reduced and discontinued.
We returned home on Friday, 9 April, and Duncan has been thriving in his home environment! This last photo was taken one week after discharge. We praise God for this miracle! We cannot thank all of you enough for your tireless prayer and support.
